Looking for an external CF card reader that supports at least 30MB/sec data rate transfer speeds for reading 16 Gig Sandisk Extreme III and/or UDMA compact flash cards.

The needed solution is for mobile use with a notebook computer lacking firewire but with a 'eSATA + USB 2.0' port.

Any suggestions?

Have a look at This. Not sure if it meets your needs but says speeds up to 34MB per sec.

Thanks... I saw that but unsure what "up to 32MB/sec" really means. Given that it is still USB 2.0 I'm unsure it will be faster than what I already got... and what I got is dog slow. LOL!!

This other one they had actually appealed to me more, but again - USB 2.0:
Sandisk CF Card Reader

Anyone know the difference between 'high speed' USB 2.0 compared to regular USB 2.0?

Note:
I checked. My notebook PC has the "enhanced" USB2 host controllers installed and my current card reader says "Hi-Speed USB 2.0" on it. However, by actual measurement, if I were to upload all three of my 16 Gig Extreme III cards in one sitting it would take me approximately 3.5 hours to complete the job. That is what I call "dog slow". :)
