A very reputable food/dept store here in Belgium is offering Canon 450D kits (12.2 mp) with a 18-55 mm lens and Hama UV filter for 599 Euros. They are also offering a kit which includes the Tamron 70-300 lens for 189 Euros more.

Is there a catch? Am I gonna regret buying my Nikon D60 too early and so therefore not being able to afford this offer?
