I know what you mean. I put more thought than usual into planning and lighting my entry, and still scoring lower than expected... but it's early though - lots of time to go lower! |

Heh, can you hook me up with that card company? LOL (just kidding)
I didn't enter and hope my original comment about the titling didn't piss people off but like eyewave said in a previous post, I believe the image should speak for itself and following the rules has always been such an important thing here. Although I voted high on a good photo, disregarding the title, the description says "the month should be the title" not be included in the title. Ok, I'm going to run out of here before the rotten tomatoes start hitting me in the back. |
Avanti Press is a good one and depending on the kinds of images you have there are tons more out there. : )
I am anal when it comes to the description of a challenge. I think the title should be the month only and nothing else. The image should speak for itself.. I'm right with you on this one! |

Pinheads are out voting right now... 28th vote knocked me below 6 for the first time since last night at 10 votes.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
Post-10 high is a 6.15, so I'm pleased. I think some of the goobs who think that anything but a one-word month title is DNMC are voting now. Let those get it out of their system and then the intelligent voters can move in.

I think that once a year you should be allowed to enter 2 things in the same challenge, so that you can compare and contrast the results. |

Ok, if we are going strictly by the wording, and the wording says that the month "should be" the title. then you don't have to include the month at all if you don't want to.
Just because someone should do something, doesn't mean that they do! |

Man, for once I would like to see my score start low and end high. Somehow it's always the other way round. |

Perhaps, but then those who chose to not include a month in the title at all should be prepared for some DNMC votes. |

There's a big difference between "SHOULD" and "MUST"

yup, unfortunately, no matter how much arguing goes on, I think that the people who vote that strictly are actually few and far between. I'd love to blame my multi-word title, but unfortunately, I think it's my picture. |

Is "goob" a self-selecting class? :)

Started at 5.7! I was hoping for an average at 5.5, but now I hope I'll stay over 5. |

The sticking 5 keys are in use. I suppose it's preferable to the 2's and 3's I'll eventually get from the "doesn't speak to me" crowd. I think there is sometimes a very thin line between "ok" and "outstanding".

Having dangerously toyed with the idea of dipping below 5 my score has now recovered. Oh why do I put myself through this ... ;)

I didn't count me into that group, I never said that more-than-one-word-titles are DNMC.
But that might be hard to understand for people who only think black or white. |

Grab a slice of pizza and join us under the rock.
That's a lot of comments at only 47 votes. Your entry ought to be easy to pick out of the crowd.
