I have just run into a problem where I cannot import jpeg images from Photoshop CS3 into iPhoto '09.

I change the image to 8 bit, convert to sRGB color space and then use "save as" to save the image as a jpeg.
When I attempt to import into iPhoto I get a "unrecognized format" message and the photo is not imported.

This process worked fine until just recently (possibly since installing iPhoto '09).
I can open the image in Preview and then do "save as" to create a new jpeg which seems to import fine, but I really don't want the additional step in my workflow.

Has anybody else bumped into this issue?
