That "manifesto" sounds pretty accurate to me. Saudi Arabia does fund terrorism, and at least this guy (Perle) is willing to admit it. Just from that you can tell his intentions are not driven by greedy oil interests, but rather, the interest in the safety of the USA and all other countries effected by terrorism.

Although I don't think we need to take steps quite that drastic... Terrorist/evil nations such as Libia and Iran are slowly coming to their senses and beginning to "talk" to the USA after seeing what we did to Saddam's evil regieme because they don't want it to also happen to them. All these countries (terrorist supporting) understand is FORCE. They don't understand negotiation, the don't understand diplomacy, they don't respond to niceties that the President sends to them on Ramidon... They only understand (and even respect) force, since that is their mentality.

Chris,

not disagreeing or agreeing but you use pretty certain terms like, "they do". Let's face it, what we citizens "know" is highly suspect & we should try to speak in less fact based affirmations as we can since we really do't "know". I mean unless King Fahd is calling you giving you the downlow on what SA is doing, you really don;t know, do you? Just my opinion.

I usually don't speak out "in certain terms" unless I have a pretty good idea that what I'm saying is correct. I don't need a confession from King Fahd or anyone else in that region in order to figure out who does and doesn't support terrorism. :) It's common knowledge which Middle Eastern countries support terrorism. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that common citizans do, I'm saying the governments (or otherwise, people in control) do. The only reason Saudi Arabia gets away with it is because we need the oil, and Bush knows that. It's hard to blame him, he has our best interests in mind (in this policy anyway :D )

Hey Chris,

I disagree but I hear ya!

rooster - i find it ironic that you are so outspoken against bush - yet you down chris for using "certain terms" in forming his own opinion on a world leader(s) he doesn't know...

I'd say that you yourself use very "certain terms" when describing Bush and what he does or does not do.

Do you have a "red" phone to bush or something?

Just as well they found all those weapons of mass destruction eh chris ;-) lol......now you can rest easily pretending Iraqs invasion was for liberation.

Oh i know why dosent USA bomb Zimbabwe as Mugabe is commiting worse atrocities than saddam ever did, oh wait theres no profit in it ...Oh well they can suffer.

"worse atrocities than saddam ever did..."

I was with you until that. I'm not so sure that is correct.

The point is xhoss that magabe is a dictator ,and hes a bad dude that has allowed the natives to murder white people and remove them from thier land.

In my opinon he is in the same leauge as sadam

The most common thing Magabe and Sadam have is they dont have weapons of mass destruction

I don't think it's scary because I don't think Bush will be reelected. I believe the people of the U.S. are quite aware what the Iraq war was about, and who is pocketing the money at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer.

Imo the 64k question is what silly Democrat is going to replace him. I could not stand Clinton but given a Bush/Clinton choice I would vote Clinton. And that would be very much out of character for me.

To assign this type of mentality to our enimies in the war on terror is likely correct. But it could also be assigned to the Bush administration's approach to foreign relations.
