Could somebody please help me with this :
Whilst I didn't think it would do that well (because I don't think comedy scores well here) I would appreciate some comments on what I could have done to improve the picture. I had 8 comments saying it was funny, but none saying why it only scored a 5.44
Thanks in advance, and please be as critical as you like. |

Hi Mikeee, Cool photo. Looks like you went to quite a bit of effort to make that.
I didn't vote the challenge but would have given you a 6 or 7.
From my experience simple photos do well here... Just look at IreneM's photos. Your photo, particularly in the thumbnail is very cluttered and busy.
If a thumbnail looks good, then the photo has a chance of doing well as a lot of voters scann the thumbnails first & give their top marks to the ones that appeal.
Just remember if a photo doesn't do well here in DPC, it doesn't mean it is a bad photo, it just doesn't appeal to the tastes and voting quirks of the community here. |
