I am trying to submit my first challenge entry and it is asking for the shutter speed. I downloaded a program to extract EXIF data (Free photoviewer) but can't find where the shutter speed is located. Would it be labeled something else? |

Should look something like this:
Exif Sub IFD
* Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/60 second = 0.01667 second
* Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 40/10 = F4
* ISO Speed Ratings = 400
* Original Date/Time = 2009:02:02 09:44:49
* Shutter Speed Value (APEX) = 387114/65536
Shutter Speed (Exposure Time) = 1/60 second
* Aperture Value (APEX) = 262144/65536
Aperture = F4
* Flash = Flash fired, auto mode
* Focal Length = 100/1 mm = 100 mm
* Image Width = 640 pixels
* Image Height = 484 pixels
However, this information is NOT required to have a legal submission. It's more of a courtesy to other shooters. Just give us your best guess if you aren't sure.

Is it exposure time? 1/15
Or exposure bias 0/16?

If you are using Vista you can right click on the file and check the exif properties that way also. There are 3 tabs at the top General Security and Details, Click on Details and scroll through. I know this works with Jpegs but have not shot raw in a long time and have no idea how Vista communicates with Raw files. |

I know this was probably a silly question to most on here so thank's for the help! |
