Hey all.
I got my frame in today from American Frame (//www.americanframe.com/) and it looks great. Thanks for all the help in figuring out what my options were; several people recommended American Frame to me and I'm pleased with my selection. They cost less than 1/3 the price of anywhere else I went and I got exactly what I was wanting (hmmm, I hope that's good because I'm not a professional matter or framer but . . . oh well). Anyway, I recommend this resource for anyone else who wants to frame a large print fairly inexpensively and still get a beautiful presentation when everything's done.

I've ordered from them and I agree, they're great. They'll do custom cut mats (e.g. for holding three pictures in one frame) if you e-mail or fax them a drawing with the dimensions. While their selection of frames isn't as large as www.pictureframes.com, it's fairly extensive. They use the same mats (regular or museum) as most framing stores. Their prices are the best from my research. |
