Mephisto, who is using Firefox 2.0, is getting a nasty message when he goes to the login page (//www.dpchallenge.com/login.php) which reads something like:

"Moved Permanently

The document has moved here [eta: some link that doesn't work].
Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) PHP/5.2.0-8+etch13 mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8c Server at www.dpchallenge.com Port 80"

Is anyone else using Firefox familiar with this or what it might mean?

I'm on firefox and haven't had a problem.

FWIW, nothing on the admin end of the account has been changed (that I can tell), so he hasn't been banned or locked out or anything weird like that.

Also, there is a SC thread with attention directed to Langdon about it.

Thanks, Karma. I sent in the ticket but figured it might be worth asking if anyone else had seen the same thing.

sending it as a ticket (i'm assuming administrative, because I don't see it) is also a good idea. apparently, he wasn't able to even do that, was he?

maybe if we find out what is doing it, I can do it to my account and actually get something productive done. . . .

Using FF3 and not having any problems.

Yeah, I sent in the ticket for him since he can't log in at all.

I've never been able to log in via firefox.

I type in my password and user id, it goes through all the motions, then returns me to the sign in screen as though nothing had been input.

No message - just a loop of death.

any ideas ?

You probably have it set not to use cookies. You need to allow cookies for dpchallenge to work in any browser and the preference/option needs to be set in each browser separately.

FWIW I use Firefox all the time (ver 3.0.6) and it's fine for me. Tonight I logged out and in again for the first time in months with no issues. The only quirk I've seen is a couple of times pictures all show as a little block in the corner and I have to restart the browser.
[eta] Oh, and I have it set to accept 3rd party cookies until they expire.

Fixed - thank you.

I only allowed DPC cookies and it's gone straight in.

I'm using FF 2.00.20 and have no problems here or anywhere really.

FF 3 is a different issue - I can get onto my bank with it and have other 'security' issues with it even though I have security dialed back to nothing - which makes me nervous.

I have it set to deny 3rd party cookies and have never had any issues.
