Go in to the actions pallet, select the action and then at the bottom of the window choose the dustbin icon that will delete it.

You can DRAG it to the trashcan icon, actually, even simpler :-) This works on the layers palette as well, incidentally, handy when you want to trash a layer that's gone bad to the bone.
