Yup , site was very slow 2 hrs ago. seems to have recovered.

| heh yeah the morons are out, I just got hit with 2 votes that knocked .1 off my score - I don't calculate anymore but I'm guessing a couple of 2s or a 1 and a 2 ahh well that's life :) |

Just because they don't vote your apple the way you want, that doesn't mean that they are morons, they just think your apple shot is rotten.

Just because they don't vote your apple the wat you want, that doesn't mean that they are morons, they just think your apple shot is rotten. |
See now you have gotten me started ;) Now what amazes me is that there are people with 4.x and very low 5.x average votes received that have even lower average votes given, they are either way better critics than they are photographers or they just don't like accepting the fact that other images are better than their own? I dunno maybe that's not the case at all..... |

hmmm, just got a 1. I agree with the moron comment simply because a 1 means the worst possible photo. If I get a 3 or a 4, I believe it, and figure there is some reason the people think it's substandard. But if the shot is a relatively clean, decent shot that fits the challenge a vote of 1 is simply done to be cruel.
You did make me curious, however. My average vote received is 5.5 and my average votes cast is 5.7960. |

nah, it's ok if we deserves it. I even told my close friends to vote for my entries honestly the way they see it, and they did!... previously, gave me not more than 6.
those *@%*#! ..... hehehhh...
but those who gives you low scores just to drag your average down... shame on you, talentless freaks! hehehehh...

Totally expected, though I think this is wayyy better than entries of mine that have brought in similar scores in the past. I am sure my approach encourages low votes. Some comments would be nice though.

Ask and ye shall receive. One comment telling me of a flaw I was already aware of, but that I don't think should bring it down this far. I may end up with a brown for something that's not blurry, grainy or dull.

Well thems the breaks on this site I guess, however, the challenge description doesn't say "Creatively photograph a single apple any way you see fit." it says "Creatively photograph an apple any way you see fit." which doesn't restrict to any specific number there could be 1 apple or 1000 apples the way that has been written the criteria would still be met. But knowing how fussy some voters are here and bearing in mind all the discussion before, during and often after each challenge I guess as always it's each to their own :) |

I am not marking down for more then one apple just fyi. I just knew that some probably would so I chose a different entry.
