Hi all! I'm (relatively) new to DPC but I love the spirit and camaraderie of the site. My wife and I just redesigned our website and are running our first contest for last year's clients (we let our clients pick the photos, so some of our favorites aren't in the running). Check out www.loriandersonphoto.com and tell me what you think. We'd love comments, and cast your vote for your favorite pic while you're there. The winning family gets a gallery wrap. Thanks!

Your wording does have the flavor of a spam posting. I am a moderator on another forum and I regularly remove spam postings from "new users" that sound very similar. People are understandably a little wary of such things. Once you have been on this forum a while and your name is known, then nobody will question a request to look over your newly designed site.
I do see you've been a member since '06 but have not participated any before this.

That makes sense. I'm not much for posting on forums myself. I do spend a bit of time poking around here and elsewhere; it gives me inspiration and I get ideas for my own adventures from some of the better images posted here. I guess I should participate more often. My apologies for coming off as a ne'er-do-well.
