After three years living here, the last two as a digital photographer, I FINALLY have cable Internet.
15-16 MB downloads!!!!!!
I am so happy!!!!

I am back.......hopefully nowhere nearly as obnoxious.
I have to recreate a decent portfolio......I deleted mine in a fit of self-loathing when I was considering wandering off for good.
Of course, I had a lot of crap in it anyway, so maybe some sortage was in order.
At least now, they'll go up fast.......8>)

Waay happy for you Jeb. Now you can get the updates on the Andy Griffith show, and Dukes of Hazzard. We live so far in the woods that we just got the first runs of Andy show a couple of months ago.
Seriously, it's good to see you get something that will be so nice for you to have. Lookout update button. : )

Yeah.....I left a 6MB cable connection back in the development that I left.
This is why it took so long to get cable.
Notice the neighbors.......NOT.....and the satellite dish on the roof of the garage.
When the trees have their leaves, the signal drifted badly.
I LOVE my cable connection!
Oh yeah......I got that TV crap, too, but I don't watch it.

If we ever move (again) one of the major sellinng points would be broadband access. I wouldn't go back to dial-up if I have any choice in the matter.
We routinely have three computers all streaming tv shows and/or movies online (we don't have cable or satellite.
