Hi Guys,

I know this is probably a dumb question, but can we do a boarder like this in basic editing?

Or are we only allowed to do a white/black boarder, or no boarder at all.

Thanks
Rich

I see a gold one on the 20th place shot in the sound challenge.

From the Basic Editing Rules the only restrictions are:

You May
# add a border to the outside edge of your entry. Your border must be distinct and clearly recognizable as a border.

You May Not
# add graphics, clip art, computer-rendered images or parts of other photographs to your entry or its border during editing.
# add text to your entry or its border during editing. This includes copyright statements.

Bear in mind that borders are not universally liked.

Thanks for your help on this to you both, yes I understand that a boarder is not always universally liked but I like them.

Thanks for the help.

As long as you do a thorough interview and background check, some boarders can be pleasant company. Borders are OK too, if used tastefully. ;-)
