okay.. wow... what a nightmare.....

hmm where to start. 1. I haven't even looked at the pics I took today but i already know they will be horrible.

okay simple tips and how too's (easy) how to's.. I practiced with the material i bought to try out before hand and at home it worked great! however at the friend houe with the new born.. yeah... not so great... i suppose it was the different lights we have vs what they have..

anyone know how i can fix this? we are going to try again once day this week once i get some feed back, I m just glad this is a good friend of mine that is allowing me to play and use as much as I want to and knows i have no clue wha i am doing.. :) I thought I may have had a little, but uh.. after getting there yeah.. I don't have a clue.. lol

What kind of light did you use?? Just regular household lights? In my experience, if you can get over there and use some sunlight from a window, that tends to work well for babies. It's not too bright for them and tends to offer a nice glow if you don't have any studio style lights to bring with you. I'm going to try and drag out my softbox later this afternoon (I hope!) for some shots and experimentation. I'll let you know how it goes and if I can offer any tips, I will!

Stick some examples up here too so we can see your hard work!! :-)

Congrats! I share your excitement... My wife is 36 weeks pregnant and I can't wait to take pictures of our baby boy.

Most importantly, have fun with the pictures! It's hard to take a bad baby picture ;)
