More to come as far as I know, it's still falling where I am in Scotland, been on and off all day. Was 3 inches thick when I went out this morning. Brrrr. We're used to cold weather but it doesn't really snow much here these past few years, hence why it makes the news when it's deep enough for you to leave a footprint.

global warming - so to speak...
causes such cold snaps to become more likely and long term.

The best news so far this year.
Couldn't get the car up the drive:))
Couldn't get to work:))
Had to spend some time walking to local shops and taking some photos...damn this weather!! Gonna freeze tonight, so will have to walk to work tomorrow, don't want to bend the car. Possibly some more to come later in the week. Remember, we don't do big snow often here. Last time we had similar amount was 18 years ago.
Gotta love this weather:)) Been a fun day and everyone we met today was smiling and saying hello! Community spirit does still exist.
eta: It was six inches here, I know this cos I am a man:)

It's even snowed a little bit down here in South Devon, which is unusual.

Oh no, we brits are all doooooomed
this person just put one foot in the snow and it was hours before search and rescue could get them out
It is a bit pathetic how the whole country grinds to a halt with a little snow ... still, I made it to work this morning, and my journey home took less than normal as there was so little traffic on the road :) |
