I got my husband a Nikon 885 for Christmas and it sounds funny inside. Whenever the camera is on, there are kind of buzzy clicking sounds inside. Is that normal? Also, he had it on for 15 minutes or so and it was really hot. Didn't seem normal to me but I thought I'd run it past someone with more experience with that camera than I have. Thanks for your help! Merry Christmas!

tj/jw - I have the 775 and I've never heard sounds like those that you describe. The only time I hear anything from it is when I actually take a picture. I'm guessing there's something seriously wrong with it. Especially if it's getting hot. I would take it back as soon as possible to get a new camera.

Hope this helps.
