I'm a Lions fan also but for this game, Go Steelers! I think the reason I'm rooting for the Steelers is because they are a blue collar working class team.

Phew! I feel better now! Here we go Steelers... Here we go!

Well after last year's Super Bowl it's hard to get excited about this one. Let me put it this way, by the second half when the QB drops back to pass you will be pointing your lens to the defense to anticipate that INT.

Since I'm a Lions fan I'm used to rooting for the under dog ... so this time I pick the Cards ...

Why don't we place a bet on the game. I'll bet you a comment that the Steelers win!

I don't follow any sports in any season. I do have a weakness for boxing as I used to be one (a boxer that is.) But the mainstays of professional sports I know little to nothing about. However, my wife's brother is heavy into sports and they have been talking and now there are some bets on the table. So, due to those bets and where my money is (since they knew they wanted the Cardinals) I have to be with the Steelers. I will not see the game as I cannot bring myself to actually watch a football game, but I will be collecting two bucks that day. I also will have taken some awesome day and night photos that day. They are worth millions I am sure.

Geez... several days and the thread has died completely :(

Well, I'm here in Tampa, writing this from the Media Center, credentials in hand... so I am excited about the game! Woooooooo!

Go Alan!! You look so excited! Have lots of fun, and since the Eagles didn't make it (screwed up at the end as usual) Go Steelers!

The jersey should make it easier to spot you on TV. :-)

I'm not wearing that today (although it would certainly be easy to pick me out, wearing black and gold...!)... that shot was from yesterday. I'm at the Media Center right now (in neutral colors), waiting for the media buses to start running up to the stadium in a bit.

Go Cardinals!!!

Mind you I just found out today who they are and seeing as I have no idea who the Steelers are, Go Cardinals!

Is this for baseball or football?

This is where I am at the moment... it's kind of a cool area of the Media Center. This is "Radio Row" where all the radio stations do their live broadcasts:

I am still at a toss on this game. the pros and cons are killing me.

Id like to see the Cards go the distance the first time. Would be a bit of history, However I hate Kurt Warner so it makes it very hard for me to bend that direction,
As for the Steelers, Would be cool to see them make history today too, But because they have been there and done that so many times before it makes me lean more towards the underdogs who have not done that yet.

Maybe I will just root for the commercials this year. Speaking of, Do you all have your fancy custom made intel 3D glasses ?

As a member of the media, how could you possibly go against the "Feel good" story of the year and Kurt Warner? I mean geeze Alan didnt you take an Oath or something?

Personally I'm not a fan of the Cardinals(since Bill Bidwell took our team away) and I dont care for the Steelers, although the Pittsburgh quarterback almost qualified for the Darwin awards a few years ago, so making it back to the big game has to feel good to him.

Myself I'll be watching the commercials.

If I feel good tonight, it will have absolutely nothing to do with Kurt Warner being happy...!

I'm thinking about starting a "Go Cardinals!" thread so people will properly root for the Steelers...

Definitely a "Stillers" fan here...and have been since the days of Jack Lambert and the Steel Curtain and Louisiana QB Terry Bradshaw. :) I'll be wearing my official Steelers jersey tonight and screaming at the TV.

*waves my terrible towel*

Ooo, what was the story here?

My roommate is a HUGE Steelers fan...she's bringing back tons of steelers crap to put around our room. Now, since I don't particularly like the steelers, and I'm annoyed that she's defiling our room with her steelers stuff...go...cardinals, is it? Haha!

The Steelers beat my Cowboys - but I'm married to a Pittsburgh native...

So we find ourselves in Pittsburgh this weekend enjoying Primanti's, Don's Garage and all the wonderful Steelers fans down on The Strip. These people know how to have fun and they know how to root for their team.

Going to a superbowl party this evening with more Steelers die-hards.

Go Steelers!!
