Siempre es importante guardar el original de las fotos y trabajar la edición sobre una copia.
Si participas en un challenge, en cualquier momento alguien puede solicitar la verificación de tu original. En este sentido la única forma de verificar el original es por medio del EXIF. Incluso si utilizas algún programa para transferir las fotos de tu cámara a tu computadora y ese program modifica el EXIF, no es válido como original. Te sugiero transferir las fotos directamente con el explorador de Windows sin siquiera rotarlo para evitar cualquier modificación del EXIF.
