A while ago, someone posted a link to a photographer's gallery. The photographer photographed ghost towns and abandoned things, typically at night with strange colorful lighting. If anyone remembers the link, please post it for me. I have searched the forums but I am obviously using the wrong search terms.

do you remember where he took his pics?

He does super long exposures of abandoned midwest locations...defunkt Drive In's etc.

I posted the link a few years back. Don't remember his name but I could find it doing the usual searches.

I know it's not this one but I think Jim's painting with light images are close to what the ghost town images were like.

Found this site as well (also not it): //lowlightphotography.blogspot.com/2007/10/light-painting-tutorial.html

Check out Andy Frazer's blog:link. He seems to cover about everything that's happening in night photography. Chances are whoever it is you're hunting for is in there.

Thank for all the other links - very interesting images and information on each. I have a lot to learn and these are a great start.

One of the guys techniques is waving/painting colored light with a flashlight.

I assume that explains the intensity and contrasting colors.

yeah he explains his light painting techniques on the site.

here are some light painting night shots of the Lemaire Institute in belgium.
It's also my favorite homepage and source of abandoned site's!
