If you zoom in on Aretha Franklin it looks like she has a huge growth on her neck also a mysterious hat floating in front of her, Another thing I noticed was the guy behind who I believe is Jimmy Carter they are a row behind the Bush Daughters. his head is chopped in half.

Here is an article from NASA on how the image was made. The GigaPan is based on the camera mounts developed for the Mars rovers -- one more example of "exotic" space research leading directly to consumer-level products ... |

Gigapan Website Only 379 dollars. Talk about a sweet temptation. Wow!.... The Epic model only supports point and shoot cameras but they are releasing a new model that will hold some DSLRS but will still have a weight limit of 3lb so you wont be able to use your big glass. |

It took something like 15 minutes to take all the photos for that assemblage -- the miraculous part is that so many people stayed still for so long -- maybe they were frozen in place.... :-) |

Well if you look closely, the honkin' piece of L telephoto glass on the leftmost part of the photo shows where 2 separate photos were stitched together. |
