im going to be taking one of my strobes with me to a basketball game tomorrow, but im not sure how one would transport a strobe. are there boxes one can buy for a strobe, or is just putting the light and stand and everything in the back ok? please let me know, id rather not destroy my new strobes trying to get them to a high school basketball game:/

a buddy of mine, the newspaper sports photog, uses some strobes to bounce off the ceiling in the gym to get better lighting near the nets. i can put my ISO on 200 and reduce the graininess bunches. plus, faster shutter speed.

just seems alot of work lugging all that gear around and setting up

so you going too leave the lights just at one end of the court and shoot from there?

i was gonna put one strobe at each end, but i changed my mind. i think ill just keep the strobe at wahtever end the hometeam is shooting on, and switch at halftime

the strobe will be on the stage at one end of the court. no fans allowed up there and i found a plug in right where near i need it.
