Dear Everyone,
Some of you know that I'm very new to Photoshop and recently I read about "Save for web". I saved my photo for web but the photo has lost all the EXIF information (f-stop, ISO, date of photo taken, exposure, shutter speed etc). I must have saved it wrongly. Any advise?
I've learned so much from this site (plus my own reading on the Internet), and I hope that I'm able to contribute in the "Tips, Tricks, and Q&A" one day.
Thanks for reading.

Ang, you did nothing wrong. That's the way Save For Web works. It strips out all the extra information. It's often used here at DPC to help us fit all the pixel info possible into the file size requirements. Why take up the space with useless info!
the exif info is still in your original photo. |

You can "Save As.." and it will retain your Exif data. Just choose a lower jpg quality setting so the file is not to large in size. |

Hello brownsm and jeger,
Thank you both for the response. I thought I did something wrong.
