Northeast Wisconsin, currently -15...-35 wind chill! Kids are off again today!!
The weather guy on tv left a banana outside to show how quickly it would freeze...then the idiot put it to his mouth!! Needless to say, it stuck to his lip and he looked like the kid in A Christmas Story!!! How thick can you be!!! |

Did everyone remember to use that gas additive that takes the moisture out of your gas tank? |

ROFL! My dog wouldn't even go off the porch to pee! He peed on the porch and before it could run off, it froze! I've never seen him pee so fast and run right back in before. |

heh. we're up to 5, this morning.
keep in mind that western NC is also the mountains. so, while you are further north, I believe I am higher in elevation. |

here that would never be thought of as chilly, 50 degrees is chilly in October, in Feb or March 50 degrees is a heat wave.

Downright balmy in Paducah...+7F, on the way to a high of +14F.
It was 0 at sunrise, and my black lab was sacked out on a pile of straw, outside of the doghouse, oblivious. "Cold? What's cold? You got a biscuit for me?" Dogs are amazing.

It was minus 13 this morning. So I went outside to take some pictures of ice and steam, It paid off. I walked outside looked up at the trees for ice crystals and this is what I seen in the tree.
Current temp is -9 We might get above 0 today, heat wave of +21 tomorrow It is not often when you can honestly say you are looking forward to 21 degrees.
Might go out later today and look for more eagles. Pretty rare around here to begin with then to have one in my own yard is mind blowing. epsecially since I was thinking about driving about 6 - 7 hours this weekend to attend the Eagle Days in Iowa. Rethinking that now. lol |
