Check this out - these amazing amateur photos of pre-war Bondi Beach were recently discovered. Amazing images, particularly for an amateur photographer.

Wow, those are some terrific photos and a very interesting story. It's a shame that his remarkable talent wasn't rewarded, or apparently even recognized, until after he was dead. More proof that professionalism is no measure of talent.

I saw a movie once that shown people doing this beachobatics while surfing! Pretty amazing! |

That is really cool - I tried doing something similar (nowhere near as acrobatic) in Barcelona once - however it was a bit cold and I was the only one who wanted to start jumping around.

We all like DPC for various reasons ... like learning, showing off, being among the cool kids, ... and so on.
One of the reasons I like it here is because folks like lonni draw photos like this to our atention. Ones we would otherwise not have seen. THANKS! |
