hey all,
i'll be heading to san francisco in the coming weeks, and was wondering if anyone could share photography tips, good locations to shoot, overall "photographer-friendliness" of the city, etc in addition to any "must-see" locations in the area, and general travel tips.
cheers in advance.

I went in April of last year, its the chilly wind you have to be cautious of. I went to pier 39 and the ocean was right there, maybe thats why I was so cold.., also went to the aquarium and just walked around, its pretty photog friendly, as you will see there are many others walking around taking pictures with big fancy cameras :p I live three hours from there so I wouldnt be able to point out good locations. |

I went last May. It was chilly to me as I am from Phoenix, but really not too bad. I loved Alcatraz Island.
