Hello All,

I want to create a border for an image, however i do not want the border on the outside of the image.

I want the border to be about 5 pixels in and still have some of the image on the outside of the border.

Any ideas?

=o ) Easy enough

Just create a new layer
Use the marquee tool to create a box where you want your border to be.
Click "edit" and then select "stroke"

You can choose 5 pixels for the width and choose your color

Good luck!

You can also select the part of the image that you want to have the border around and copy it, then paste it on its own new layer. You can then stroke this layer in the layer styles box, and you can set a drop shadow under it, and you can adjust the opacity of the border layer so it's all a ghost effect, whatever you like.
