i thought this might be a decent addition to the site.

being able to search or sort challenge results by the equipment used to take the entry. either by camera model and/or the lens used.

or even a general image search filter that allows this.

i can't be the only one to think this would be a decent feature ?

Any filtering of images by lens and/or camera would be pretty cool. I think the closest thing we have is the highest rated for each. There's been times where I have wanted to see the shots a certain user has used with a certain lens and/or camera.

It would also be nice to have a "more robust" search engine for the lenses, e.g., so that you could mix search terms without having to get the phrase just right.

i guess - IMO - the highest rated list from a given lens is likely a bit misleading. ie: the images are likely processed heavily - seeing as they were entries.

know what i mean ?

not to mention that is only challenge entries listed - not everyday profile uploads.

say i want to see what kind of bokeh the canon 28-135 spits out at different apertures...

I think that's what I was trying to get at but wasn't able to pinpoint.

There have been times where I have wanted to see the different image results from a particular lens and see it's personality/quirks/strengths.
