Don't let the Originality Police bother you too much. IMNSHO, they are right down there with the "Tack Sharp" and "Noise" folks.
People have been making photographs for long enough that there is very little that hasn't been photographed before unless you are into exploring Outer Space. Take the pictures you want, process them the way you want, and if people whose opinions matter to you like them, relax and don't worry about the Philistines. As for originality, remember, even God created Man in his own image. |

So they are ... I hadn't read them in a long time. Sometimes I think that a truly "successful" picture would have an inverted (DPC voting) curve, with spikes at 1,2,3 and 8,9,10, with a minimum of 4,5,6,7 votes -- one which makes a strong impact whether positive or negative. |
