I just ran across a mention of Greenshot on Lifehacker. I haven't installed it yet, but it sounds handy for anyone that does a lot of tutorials with screen shots. It has built in ability to mark up a screen shot with arrows and boxes. And it's Open-Source, which I like.

Windows only for this one, I'm afraid.
