I'm shooting tabletop with a 100mm macro lens at 1/200 or 1/60 f8 iso 100.
I have two pentax strobes i'm using off camera. I trigger optically from a 430ex omounted on a rebel xt. The flashes trigger every time, all three. But the subject is not illuminated by all the flashes. Sometimes the left of the subject is illuminated and sometimes it does not illuminate. And all this time i see the strobes fire. WTH?

Never mind. The mounted 430ex was in ttl mode not manual :)
