| Hey I was just shopping online and I seem to remember these selling for about $650. Anyways amazon is now selling them new for $440 so go get on if you want I'm not sure whether this is a sale or an actual price drop but I wanted to give a heads up to y'all. |

Actually, quite a few places are advertising a similar price right now. It reflects a current $50 Canon rebate, so you'll be out of pocket around $500 and Canon will send you $50 back later... Still a nice price for this lens :-)

Naa $479 at B&H with a $35 rebate $444. They used to be $469 when I bought mine. Everything is goin up.
