| they need tostick an add at the top of their page, so the can make this a free service.. i see as soon as this is out of beta it becomes a monthly/yearly fee to use it |

Just had my first successful takedown thanks to TinEye. Some company was offering one of my Metro shots as a cell phone background image.

Ive tried most of mine and nada for hits, either I hide well or people were just being nice and I do really suck :P

Just been checking a few of mine and bizarley this image
Seems to come up on a porn site (www.porno.ru) . . why ??
Needless to say I don't feel strong enough to go and check whether i have got full credit for it . . |

maybe porno means leopard or cheetah in russian ?

I've only found a hit on one of my images lack of talent could be the issue here), and then I think tineye has gone astray.
The one that looks closest, was posted about a year before I took the image.
Here's the image for those of you who have the IE plug-in, to play with it. My image was created Sunday August 17, 2008.

I had heard of this site a while back and just now got around to trying it out...as expected I didn't find any stolen images....UNTIL I searched this image  . Ended up finding a cropped version that had the copyright info cloned out. I contacted the company using it and got a very fast "We're sorry, we have removed the image and won't let it happen again". Still none of my others show up anywhere but I keep looking just in case.
I like the option to right click an image and select "Search Image on TinEye". Makes it fast and easy.

I just came across this engine, and the third image I tested was one of my favorites on DPC:
I was shocked to find how some people modified it and are using it (hopefully with permission from the author!!!
