Whether for good or for bad, a better measure of fame would be # profile views divided by membership months. That is, how many people per month, for good or for bad, want to know more about you.

As for fame? I like no fame -- better than the bad kind that creeps over me sometimes when I submit my best photo and there it sits in the humiliating infamy range in front of God and everyone. It's much easier to hide in oblivion then :)

More likely people look at your posts and think "WTF??" and then check out your profile. At least that's why my profile views are so high.

My rating by that method is about 494 ... but there's a serious problem in using any statistic which incorporates profile views, in that you must go to someone's profile page to send an IM -- not all of which are about our photographs.

Also, even though I don't think it's supposed to, I suspect it increments when you go to your own profile, as one might do to look through the list of challenges or read all the new comments at once ...
