I wanted to share some games I worked on for Disney Channel. I was lead designer on all of these and would like to know what people think, especially kids, since that's who they were created for. So share them with your kids and have fun. Thanks!
This one just went live:
Dave the Barbarian
Faffy ZAP!
A couple others:
Lilo and Stitch
Stitches Speed Chase
The Proud Family
Puff's Sand Castle

I know zilch about kids and what they might like. I'm passing these links on to a friend who has a very computer savvy 4 year old to see what she thinks.
Strictly from the standpoint of what I looked at, I am amazed at the capabilities of people like you who can design stuff like this!

I wasn't able to really look at it to much yet because of my slow internet connection.
I am wondering though, what program is used to create the graphics, and what do you use for the game? I'd guess flash, but I am just guessing ;)

You are correct. All artwork was created in Flash. And the programming was all done in Flash as well. I just did the design and animation for these games and had a programmer do the code. |

I just took a look at Faffy, and it looked great (very pretty and well laid out), but I could not figure out how to play. The help system just says move the arrows, and I did, but he wasn't catching any garbage no matter what I did. So for me it was just an exercise in learned helplessness, or maybe it makes sense for kids who don't pick up after themselves. No seriously, I was using Mozilla, and that was my experience. What's the trick?

Yes, thanks. I just discovered there was a next button on the help. I didn't see it. Maybe because I'm a lefty! But something for them to note. (As a software developer, I know all comments are important!)

Thanks for the feedback. That is very helpful for future games. |
