Gotta be one of the most misleading thread titles in history, sheesh... Was that your intention? I'm not sure the actual event is something I'd want to be making fun about...

Tragic for sure but there is a strange comedic irony to the whole situation.

Hey, I'm not making a big deal of it. To each his own. And, yes I saw the "mice" in the topic line. But for my taste, using a disaster in animal shelter and calling the mice that caused it "terrorists" is a little outré, OK? No extreme criticism is implied here, no judgment is being passed, I am just gently saying it doesn't work, as a joke, for me...

Peace out,

R.

And my reply to you was not in extreme either. But don't worry, any attempts at humor and levity from this DPC entity are over.

There is some "irony" in the incident, but it is a sad event. The mice didn't win the Cat-n-Mouse chase since it perished, too.
I'm not sure why mice would chew on electrical wires. Is that a common thing they do?

People say the Great Chicago fire of the 1800's, that burned many buildings was started by a cow.
Let's keep mice out of our houses, so nothing like that happens where people live.

Mice and rats are rodents. Their teeth grow all their lives and they must gnaw things to break the leading edge off continuously. Good luck keeping them out of our houses. Millions of dollars a year are spent to keep even with them.

Rats do it more than mice, but mice do it too. Interestingly, a lot of the newer automotive wiring uses a soy-based insulation, and mice and other rodents love this stuff. Don't know if this applies to building wiring or not.

I have lived around mice and rats all my life. They like good things to eat, but when they wish to gnaw, they are not too picky.

Heh. I found it sorta funny fir3bird. The mice will be rewarded in the afterlife for sending the infidel cats to their demise! Viva la revolucion!

PS: I mixed calls to war up there on purpose...
