Did they found him? We are watching the news, but nothing certain is said, just a few guesses. Maybe I should switch to CNN.

I can! Had there not been a ban on "assassinating" foreign heads of state, Hussein would have had several bullets in him during Desert Storm as many SF guys had the piece of offal in their crosshairs and were not given the go to fire.
I know this doesn't mean immediate reduction of forces or changes in the deployment plans, but it means there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It will also help morale and to restore faith in our ability to get the job done.
I am not trying to offend anyone, but I know at least 10-12 soldiers in Iraq personally. While I understand the need for what they do, it doesn't mean I wouldn't rather them be here with their families...this capture is a step in the right direction!

Hopefully this means the violence slows down and some of the soldiers start coming home.

So glad to see this #$@!%^&*^%% finished. We need to get the other one called Osama and it will be complete. Now the Iraqis people can and should move forward to become a great nation. I am happy for those people. |

Thanks for the photo. There are Hungarian soldiers in Iraq, too, I hope they will arrive home for Christmas.

Now that Sadaam is captured, we can concentrate more fully on Bin Laden. His time will come!
Of course, the 'Bush Lies' camp will come up with some kind of crazy conspiracy about this in an effort to continue undermining the President.

Thank God and our brave troops for bringing him in. May our brave men and women now be able to sleep better over there until their safe return to their loved ones here in the USA and elsewhere! My thoughts and prayers are with them all!
I do want to extend my families thanks to those in the UK and everywhere who supported us throughout this ordeal! May yours also come home safely and soon.
I have a brother somewhat north of Baghdad and am patiently awaiting the day that our Commander in Chief determines that it is time for him to come home! |

Well, I was personally one of the thousands of sailors deployed the Persian Gulf in support of Iraqi Freedom and I was beginning to doubt wether the loss of so many life was worth it. I'm not saying that it was, but at least they weren't lost in vain. We got the job done this time and it has really restored my faith in our mission. If it had been me who found Saddam, he wouldn't have lived to tell the tell....but you know what they say about women soldier/sailor.....they can get too emotional! God bless the ones who are still in Iraq and protect the souls of those that lost their life in persue of happiness, freedom....and as I read somewhere...all who threaten it.
