Hey all,
I don't have a fellow lensman around that I am comfortable having hit the trigger for me when I'm doing sps, which sometimes include nudes. Someone suggested remote shutter releases. I'm assuming that if they're remote, they're also cordless/wireless...right?
How much do they generally cost? Are they fairly universal, or are they brand-specific? How do they attach to camera, via USB cable port?
Any help appreciated!

They're cheap, about $10. And they're wireless (infrared on the D40 anyway). You'll find them on ebay.

Nikon Brand for 16.95 Easily my favorite and valuable accessory. It allows you to also use the bulb function so you can take really long exposures (longer than 30 sec). I use it all the time. You'll love it. :)

Oh goody, I esp like the $10 part! I imagine that's $US so after shipping etc that's oh what, about $500 CDN...:-) |

I was quoting you Euro prices from here in Ireland, so that's about €5, US$10, or CDN$1000 ;-) |

| I've never tried it (I have one of the ML-L3s), but I've read that you can use a multi-brand TV remote to trigger Nikons that use the ML-L3. I guess you could go that route if the $16 option is too expensive :) |
