Ordered yesterday afternoon and in my hands before lunch today, yes, my new Lensbaby Composer. Not had time for a real play as yet but am sure I'll have lots of fun with it and will soon be saving up for all the cool add ons.

| I took a look at the current lensbaby galleries and WOW, some nice 7's in there! I need to submit quickly as I'm (currently) the only user linked to it. |

Ummm - I accidently bought a Lensbaby 2.0!
I think Lensbabies are like Chicken Pox at DPC - contagious!

| I've been checking out the Lensbaby Composer myself. I'd love to have one, but alas I am pretty broke at this time. :( |

Score, just exchanged Xmas gifts with my wife (due to travel plans and the size gift I got her) and she got me a new composer with the complete set of inserts! Can't wait to start using it.

I've had the 2.0 for quite a while now, but just haven't gotten the hang of it. Maybe the January side challenge will help?
That composer looks nice, btw. |

Still not had a decent play with it Trevor, however, the optics are the same in all the lensbabies (maybe not the original) so any shot from the LB2 upwards should give you an idea of whay they do ;) |

| I think i am jealous of the composer's ball and socket construction... wish I had some money to burn...I'd sell the 2.0 and get this one. |

For us landscape/tripod/HDRI people, 3G seems to be the way to go :-) As soon as the weather clears here I will give it a tilt'n'whirl...

Thanks, I just pulled the trigger and bought one so it will be here by Christmas and in time for the side challenge. I'm looking forward to January now!
The new addition means I have to sell my Lensbaby 1.0. It's less than a year old. I have the box, instructions and changeable apertures with holder that comes with the lens. I'm thinking $75 bucks to paypay and that will include shipping in the US if anyone is interested. |

HELP!!!!
My Lensbaby just came but I cannot for the life of me get it on my camera! Is there a trick I'm missing? It does say Canon on the box, but when I set it on the camera, it just turns and turns and turns and seems to float on the surface without anything connecting or linking to the body anywhere. Help!!
Awww, I just wanna cry.... upon closer inspection, though the box says Canon, I do believe it's the wrong lens mount. Not matching up with the way my other lens mounts look. I am very sad. I will call B&H tonight and arrange for a return, but now I won't have my lens to play with and will have to wait for this one to get back before they send another. Sniff. So much for my Christmas present to self. Sad... :-(

| It should snap on like any other lens with no issue so I would guess that they shipped you the wrong mount. Sorry to hear that Deb but maybe they can express ship you one with a prepaid packing slip to ship back the wrong one, worth a try at least. Good Luck. |

| Yeah, I'll ask if they can ship the new one whilst I ship this one back, but there is no "express" to APO addresses. I will say that I get B&H stuff faster than anything else though - often in as little as a week! Just won't be in time for the time I have off during Christmas. Ah well. |

Not meant to be. Think I'll go home and just feel sorry for myself now. B&H is completely out of stock for both the Composer and the Muse, with no date as to when they will be in stock.
Would anyone like to purchase the pinhole/zoneplate optic accessory I should have arriving in the next few days? I'll sell it at cost and throw in shipping. As it is, since I'm at an APO address, B&H can't provide prepaid postage for me to send back the Lensbaby with the wrong mount. Gonna cost me postage and I'll have nothing to show for it. Sad.... |
