Hi all!
Just put put some of my work in a shop and will be selling them there. Myself and the shop owner agreed on a 30% commission of sales to him. The photos remain as my property, and will be switched out from time to time. Basically, it's like commercial gallery space.
What's just a simple contract that I can write up for this agreement? Something like,
"Me (The Photographer) and so and so (Owner, such and such a place) on the day of (date here) hereby agree upon the following terms:
1. 30% of sales occurring at (such and such a place) will be rendered to (so and so) as means of commission.
All rights to the work, as well as the physical prints, remain in the possession of the photographer, (me). "
Maybe add in something about damages? |

Thanks TC! That's just what I needed.
And thank you EL-GHOOL! I think it will work out great, was talking with the owner the other day, filming a commercial tomorrow for the local channels and he says he'll mention me by name and feature some of the photos in the ad which is FANTASTIC advertising. |
