For those who follow the market more than I do (which is essentially not at all) ;) -- what would you say is a fair price for a used D300 body? (Assume it's in great shape, etc). Just a ballpark figure.
I have a lead on someone who's looking to sell (and I'm certainly looking to upgrade if I can afford it), and want to be sure we can talk reasonable values...

If I were you I would look around on www.fredmiranda.com and check the recent sales and postings. From what I can see depending on shutter clicks. They are from $1025 to $1150 on the current listings and sales.
