Hi All,

I'm getting very frustrated with Lightroom as it seems to have decided to ignore any value I put in the DPI section of the export and export everything at 72ppi ?!?!?!

Anyone seen this before or is there something I am doing wrong?

I'm now going to have to create an action in CS3 to convert everything to 300dpi which is a pain.

Any thoughts?

DPI makes absolutely no difference unless you are printing.

Sure but it's the requirement for the deliverable for the JPGs to be at 300dpi

Hmmm, seems strange that lightroom would ignore values then.

that's what I thought, I've run a few tests and every time it ignores it.

defaulting to 72dpi is odd as well, I don't understand why it would do that?

Are you selecting "inches" for the size measurement?

I'm thinking that if you're selecting "pixels", then the dpi values may be ignored...

Just a thought...

Do you know what.... That last reply from Medoomi got me thinking..

I just tried again without the "Minimize Embedded Metadata" ticked and it exported the correct DPI!!!

This is also REALLY annoying as I like to remove the metadata on commercial work.

But it seems that was the culprit!
