I don't usualy do this - my outtakes as they are frequently called. Simply becasue in every challenge I have always had 1 idea and stuck with it.
But, on this occasion I had 3, all pretty crap but wondered what comments/score I would have got for them both. I went with the idea I liked least, and my girlfriend liked most, doing ok-to-poor with 5.9434, so wondered if I should start kicking myself now -or thank my GF ;)

I would not call 5.9 ok to poor, it is a very decent score when you consider the typical fall of votes.
I like both those shots, but can't comment if you entered the best of the three until I know which one is yours in the challenge. Might be worth renewing this thread when all three can be compared :)

I would have went with the bread as well.
The curve in the neck of the guitar is a little bright in that shot, and I don't find a guitar all that 'simple'.

I also like the bread most.
A funny thing is that a bread or a guitar were also very high on my list. But I submitted something different too.

| I consider the bread a better photo. As a plus... bread is food simplificated, while for music.... to simplify it a bit.... a violin and not a guitar would have done the same job better. |

You can tell the guitar is backlit and can see the harsh light in the bend of the neck. I don't like the bread board, and would like to see your actual submission to judge which was best.
P.S. 5.9 is in your upper middle range when I check your scores. It's a good score and can get you in the top ten in any challenge.

Yes 5.9 is my middle range, but I am fed up with being average. me wanna 6.8+!!! ;)
