I'm happy to report I'm running one of my all-time great suckage scores on my November FS entry; it may drop into the 3's, it's barely over 4.0 right now.
On the other hand, my Masters entry is in the very high 6's... Do I get thrown out of this forum now that I've admitted I entered a challenge restricted to non-suckers? Can I beg for mercy?

Not to worry, there are plenty of suckers in the Masters Challenge. We can call you Suck Master, if you like. ;)

In keeping with the theme of another thread, I think you'd be surprised at how many Team Suck members qualify for that challenge, and just how many awesome images there are that embody the TS spirit.
Most of the really awesome score bangers that have come from TS members are not what you'd call typically DPC friendly shots and that's what makes them that much more special.
Hey.....look what got me there!!!!

I'm in for November Free Study. So far, I have three comments and all of them are good. What's the chances of that??? I also have 1 fave. I don't look at the scores till the end so I can't say what it is. One thing is for sure, there's not a lot of views in the FS. They must all be in the Masters challenge looking at the premier images.

All team suck members And team mates of  as well as  .
I am dropping out of the loop for about a month,as I have lost the plot with photos at the moment, with so much going on personally, Our 40yr young daughter is marrying for the 2nd time round on the 12th DEC, the wedding is over 4days, Friday wedding, Saturday Reception, Sunday wedding breakfast, Monday recovery and early Christmas for those we will not see during the festivities. All on the north coast of NSW at Ballina.
I wish each and every one of you a joyous Christmas and Happy New Year, thanking you for all your support during this past year,

I am in for the Masters' (Hah!) FS.  Melethia convinced me that I should enter the picture in question in a FS and as I already had selected a photo for the Nov FS I thought what the heck, and entered in the Masters'. Glad I did, as I have never had a photo get so many faves - and it is a photo that I really like, too!

YAY!!!!! I saw that one and was going to tell you I'm SO glad you entered it. Congrats on the favs!! YAY!!!

Is it just me or is there a lot of vitriolic threads/posts lately taking shots at this site?
If you feel so strongly that you dislike the place, why not try to do something to help, or just leave, rather than leave these poisonous posts?
Some of us really like this site, the people here, what it has to offer, and the people who selflessly give their efforts to running it.

i wasn't saying that it was proper for him to take things out on you but I am trying to get people to think about the possibility for the actual trigger of this behaviour. and also, please don't let something like this ruin your day. words can hurt, but it is something you can get beyond. |

Well, you have to remember that her comment to him during a challenge, which seemed honest and real, upset him such that he sought her image out after the challenge for the sole purpose of retaliation.
I also don't have much use for people who risk others' lives for their own ends.
There is little or no excuse for someone endangering others' for the sake of an image.
It's pretty selfish and irresponsible.
It's pretty telling the kind of people who are showing up in that thread for the discussion, and some of the comments being made in return to this guy's flame fest that he started.
He actually calls the community, A-holes, pea brains, and idiots in comments and the thread.
Does anyone know if this person has ever contributed anything to this community? Other than a 4.6 voting average and a lot of vitriolic comments?
