Im so angry today. Company came yesterday with a puppy that got my glasses and now my lenses are filled with pot holes and scratches. This will really be great when I take pictures and edit them now. DARN IT.

This is why God gave us *spare glasses*... What? You don't HAVE any? Shame on you! In the meanwhile, I hope you're gonna hit the puppy's owner/s up for the cost of a replacement pair?

At least the puppy didn't eat your eyes, that can be very dangerous!

O no I couldn't do that. I dont have a spare either. (my bad) The frame is ok. Maybe I can get the lenses fixed cheap but it will have to wait because the money is tight with the holidays. In the mean time I have a good excuse for all of my bad challenge entries. ;)

I have a small bottle of that "miracle liquid" for repairing scratched eyeglass surfaces; if you wanna e-mail me your address I could send that to you for a quick fix. Or won't hubby allow this, either? LOL. You can probably get something similar at a pharmacy, I don't know; I actually got mine from a TV offer and it works pretty well...

I didnt think of that! I will have to get some of that stuff. I have heard about it. I'm sure hubby will allow it. ;) He just hates buying anything over the net and he wont allow me to anymore. I made a big problem with Pay Pal last year and now he says forget it. No Pay Pal, no checks, no nothing over the net. Can't blame him I guess. ;)

Would that stuff work on a scratch on a CRT tube? It's pretty deep too.

I meant, "allow you to send your address to a stranger on the 'net" :-) Of COURSE he'll let you buy a bottle at the pharmacy if you can find the stuff. If he WON'T, it's definitely time to either A) educate him, or B) trade him in... LOL

That's what i got it for, actually; Karma attacked my Sony when I was watching the Westminster Dog Show, put some pretty hefty scratches in the CRT. The stuff worked pretty well; not perfect, but a whole lot better. The big problem is you need to make the surface horizontal to flow it on, and that wasn't easy with a 32-inch CRT :-)

lol Yeah I can see the trouble in doing that with a 32 incher. Hope you didn't sprain your back. They are heavy as heck. Must be near 100lbs. Thanks R, i'm going to the mall later and I will look for some.

Sorry. When you said "either?" I thought you meant you read my profile thing. No hahah I really dont think the address is needed cause I can go to my own pharmacy to. I didnt think of it. I will go see today.

I would never trade him in. But one of these days he may trade me in! Hahaha.

Actually my 32 in LCD gives off a whole lot of heat compared to any CRT tube I have owned. I'm at 3 ft from it and I feel the warmth. Heating bill went down by 20% too. j/k ;] I think panels use more electricity than CRT tubes, not sure though.

Well, it's my TV, not my monitor. 7 years old. I've seen bigger...

Karma attacks your Sony during certain commercials, too. I think she thinks it is inhabited by evil spirits or something and she's trying to protect you. :-)

She attacks dogs, horses, and bulls particularly; doesn't care about sheep, cows, or cats... Or people, for that matter.
