I have been band to the garage ;-) I'm in the process of moving my little studio to an even smaller space in the garage. The good thing is that I pretty much have free rain over what I can do in there, the bad thing is that when I do not use it for photography, that it still has to house a car. --- My new "Beir Garten" has a garage door --- the other good thing that the door face north, so I can also use natural light. Not that I know how :-)..... I hope everybody else is doing well.

I heard a lot of important and successful people started in their garage!
Good luck! :)
Does this mean you're a garage photographer now? vs. landscape, portraiture, macro, flower,.. photog.
my score climbed up to a mind boggling 5.1!!

I ended up with a 5.68 and 42nd place in the Art thing, it was too subtle for most people to see Art in the shot.

Currently at 5.8 in the backlight one

67/91 for my lost (you should really check out the edit Art did, the link is in the comment section) entry - 5.7 for backlight - things are crazy around my house. Hopefully I will have some time soon to be more chatty again :)

Congrats on the 5th, Peter!!

I finished the best I have percentage wise in quite awhile, and almost broke into the top 35! I'm gettin' scary good! Still can't buy a 6 though. Maybe next year.... :-)

My entry for twisted is pathetically lame and I am embarrassed! I should have known better, I was careless and rushed to get a shot in for the challenge.

Don't worry the end is near. After that you can be selective about your entires again :)
I'm at 5.5

I guess the bier garten ran out of beer?

I'm in for week 12 :)

It's been a fun run, a little to long for my taste, but once agin the team work has been a thrill. Sorry for begin less chatty in the last couple of weeks, they have been crazy for me.

Good luck everybody on their last submission.

Tim,
you're right, the Bier Garten is empty.
And you know why? They'ra all hanging out at the Chirstkindl Market and have some Gluehwein :)
12/15/2008 09:06:19 AM · #368
Yah, can not belive that it is the end, I really couldn't as I thought it was next week lol and I had a shot for Brokeh that rocks socks!! Not sure it is Brokeh but then again I did take a god shot!

I'm not surprised the Bier Gerten is empty. It's f..ing cold at the moment. (Quick look at the thermometer... 4.8 Celcius) Much more inviting to drink Gluehwein at the moment.

My fill flash entry SUX big time. Maybe I had better do another entry before the year ends so I don't finnish on a low. I had such a cool photoshoot in the weekend, but nothing I can use for Personification or Bokeh. A bunch of attractive teenagers in fishnets dressed as devils... unless I can convince that a devil isn't a person and therefore is personification..... Naah.

Hanging right under 6 (fillflash) - hopefully at closing I may get a bump into fantastic world of "six". :)
Hard to find Gluehwine in the ATL, so prost to you that can get their hand on it.

PS (edit): It is amazing how wildly the comments range from loving the shoot to pointing out all technical faults and low balling the shoot (personally it is a style that I love and use allot, but not DPC friendly) got two fav's so at least two people love it for sure.

8th Place overall :) Great job, I know it was long and tuff to always get 5 entires in, but we did accomplish that.

Have a lovely holiday season and happy shooting.
