Hi All,

I am looking to buy a replacement digital compact camera for my parents for christmas, and have somehow stumbled upon the Canon IXUS 80 IS.

I do not want to spend much more than around the £100 if possible, but would like a decent camera.

Are there any other recommendations, or is the Canon IXUS 80 IS a good buy?

The important features would be the following:

Good image quality
Good battery life
Small and lightweight
