Not sure if the mechanics are in place to support this, but how about this different (I think) idea for a challenge.
- Photographers would submit their photo (no particular topic - like a free study). Commentors would comment (and vote - but that's secondary) on the photos, during submission or voting time. - Photographers would review and rate (beneficial or not) comments during submission, voting, or post voting window (a day or two - not exactly sure how this would be done).
- Official "Winner" is the commentor with with most "beneficial" comments given in the challenge. Ties are broken by commentors' "historical commenting count".
- Photographer with a bunch of new comments are also winners here. |

Ouch! My head hurts just from reading the rules. :-P

The "value" of a comment is quite subjective. An attempt to qualify the value of a one comment over another, or to rank the "best of the bunch" is quite a daunting, if not impossible task. Could be interesting though. |
