Hey, Check out the vid from the D90.

Nice video quality and the sound did pretty good too. I noticed focus changing so I'm assuming when you use the camera in video mode it's restricted to manual focus. Shock to the system after getting used to AF, eh?

Yes...it sure is strange to have to focus. However, when your subject is fairly still or moves a little, it is no big deal. When your kid is moving around a pumpkin patch it is a little tougher!

It does pretty nice video. I hear that it can also zoom while recording, which the P&S cameras cannot do.

Yes it can zoom while in vid mode. It has many advantages over camcorders and cams with vid...

The only minus is manual focus but that can be handled.
