Here's some of my favorites from a family shoot I did a couple of weeks ago. I just wanted to share with you all to see what I have been up to. Enjoy!

They are pleasing images. I get a sense of hyper-saturation though. If this is what you were after, or what they want, cool. If it were mine I'd tone it down a little. In the last picture, there's a green cast to the skin tones that's not present in the other images.

Thanks for your input. I'm still trying to fine tune my work. I have a hard time determining the balance of saturation sometimes. Are portraits typically less saturated? The clients were more than thrilled with what they got. I may tweak the RAW files a bit and decrease saturation and compare the two. I'm still relatively new to portrait work so I could use all the wisdom that is out there. Thanks for your comments!

I like 'em too.....I agree with Robert about the saruration....or maybe the contrast?

I have trouble with a green cast from time to time but I'v found the color balance tool in CS2 and it's been a big help.

I usually push the controls pretty hard to see how they affect the image......I'm stunned at how differently colors work from what I'd think they would. LOL!!!

Edited for fat fingers & grammar.

Thanks for the input, greatly appreciated. I think that sometimes I miss some more of the fine details in my post processing like casts, saturation, etc. I shot over 350 shots and went through and did a lot of tweaking. What do you guys do to make sure you check all the finer details in PP?

I let someone else look them over. Either my wife or someone else. Generally another photographer will pick them to pieces but the general public wont see what we do unless it sticks out like a sore thumb.
